"It is difficult to cover the life of someone so public, someone who I never met but who has had a profound impact on my life. Let me just refer back to the presentation yesterday that his successor, Tim Cook, and the other Apple executives gave on the launch of a new iPhone and iOS 5. These executives, one after another, gave their pitch for the new products as sincerely as they could, imprinting their personal commitment to the launch. I think that is something peculiarly Jobsian. He stood on that stage time and time again standing up for his products and his vision. He didn't use actors (except for that rare and comical series of I'm a PC, I'm a Mac). He was authentic and set the standard for authenticity for his industry, and for his age. That is how a company should be run."
